Curator Notes

Alice Gear Aegis began as a mobile game from Pyramid and Colopl, released in Japan in January 2018. Concerto of Simulatrix is its console spin-off: a 3D arena battle game with twenty-two playable characters, character designs by Fumikane Shimada, and music by Zuntata. MAGES. published it in Japan on September 8, 2022, for Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. PQube released it physically and digitally in North America and Europe on March 16, 2023. This filing opens the Alice Gear Aegis lineage on the shelf.

Collection Documentation

The retained object is PQube’s Western physical edition for Nintendo Switch, published March 16, 2023. Dedicated artifact views of the individual copy have not yet been filed; the gallery below is held open for that documentation.

Preservation Notes

Access Hardware: Nintendo Switch; compatible Nintendo Switch family hardware
Original Hardware: Nintendo Switch
Playback Compatibility: Nintendo Switch software is region-free. The retained game card is the primary access copy and runs on any Nintendo Switch console.
Preservation Concerns: Game cards are flash media; long-term charge retention, contact wear, and loss of the small card from its case are the principal risks. Any content delivered as an eShop download or update depends on Nintendo’s servers and is not preserved by the card alone.
Edition History: Released in Japan by MAGES. on September 8, 2022, in standard and limited physical editions (TSA-HAC-A5HQA-JPN). PQube’s North American and European release followed on March 16, 2023. The mobile game Alice Gear Aegis is a separate work and is not this filing.
Access Status: Distributed at retail as PQube’s physical edition, with a digital edition on the Nintendo eShop.
