Curator Notes

Atelier Lulua is the fourth game in Gust’s Arland sub-series, following Rorona, Totori, and Meruru. Set years after Atelier Meruru, it follows Lulua, the adopted daughter of the alchemist Rorona, and was made to mark Arland’s tenth anniversary and Gust’s twenty-fifth. Koei Tecmo released it in Japan on March 20, 2019, for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and in North America on May 21, 2019. The filing extends the Atelier lineage on the shelf, joining the Atelier Iris trilogy and the Mana Khemia games under the same series authority.

Collection Documentation

The retained object is Koei Tecmo’s retail edition of Atelier Lulua on a Nintendo Switch game card. Dedicated artifact views of the individual copy have not yet been filed; the gallery below is held open for that documentation.

Playback Compatibility: Nintendo Switch software is region-free. The retained game card is the primary access copy and runs on any Nintendo Switch console.
Preservation Concerns: Game cards are flash media; long-term charge retention, contact wear, and loss of the small card from its case are the principal risks. Any content delivered as an eShop download or update depends on Nintendo’s servers and is not preserved by the card alone.
Edition History: Released in Japan on March 20, 2019 as ルルアのアトリエ～アーランドの錬金術士4～, and in North America on May 21, 2019. A Limited Edition was sold separately through the NIS America Online Store; post-launch downloadable content added costumes and playable characters.
Access Status: Distributed at retail by Koei Tecmo, with a digital edition on the Nintendo eShop.
