Castlevania Anniversary Collection gathers eight games from the series’ 8- and 16-bit years: Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: The Adventure, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge, Castlevania: Bloodlines, and Kid Dracula, the last in its first official English release. It adds the eBook History of Castlevania – Book of the Crescent Moon. Konami released it digitally on May 16, 2019, for its 50th anniversary, with emulation by M2. Limited Run Games produced the first physical Switch edition as Switch Limited Run #106. This filing opens the Castlevania lineage on the shelf.

Playback Compatibility: Nintendo Switch software is region-free. The retained game card is the primary access copy and runs on any Nintendo Switch console.
Preservation Concerns: Game cards are flash media; long-term charge retention, contact wear, and loss of the small card from its case are the principal risks. Any content delivered as an eShop download or update depends on Nintendo’s servers and is not preserved by the card alone.
Edition History: Released digitally on May 16, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Limited Run Games issued the Switch physical edition (HAC-P-ATA9B) as Switch Limited Run #106 in standard, Classic, Bloodlines, and Ultimate editions.
Access Status: Limited Run Games’s physical edition was a limited production and now circulates through the secondary market. The digital Switch edition was issued separately on the Nintendo eShop.
