Curator Notes

Cuphead is Studio MDHR’s boss-driven run-and-gun, drawn and animated by hand in the manner of 1930s cartoons with watercolour backgrounds and a live jazz score. Cuphead and Mugman fight to repay a debt to the Devil. It released on Xbox One and PC on September 29, 2017, and on Nintendo Switch digitally on April 18, 2019. iam8bit’s physical edition followed on December 6, 2022, with The Delicious Last Course expansion and its new playable character, Ms. Chalice, on the card. This filing opens the Cuphead lineage on the shelf.

Collection Documentation

The retained object is iam8bit’s physical edition of Cuphead for Nintendo Switch, with The Delicious Last Course included, Cuphead Funnies cards, and a Cuphead Club membership card.
