The Binding of Isaac is Edmund McMillen’s procedurally generated dungeon crawler; Afterbirth+ is the second expansion to its remake, Rebirth, released on Steam on January 3, 2017. Nicalis released it on Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2017, physically and digitally, as a standalone game containing everything up to Afterbirth+. It had been planned as a launch title for the console and was held back by Nicalis. This filing opens The Binding of Isaac lineage on the shelf.

Edition History: Afterbirth+ released on Steam on January 3, 2017 as an expansion requiring Rebirth and Afterbirth. The Nintendo Switch edition (HAC-P-BAAZA) released March 17, 2017 in North America as a standalone game; first prints carried a reversible cover, a colour manual, and a sticker sheet.
