Curator Notes

Death Mark is set in the fictional H City, where people branded with a mysterious mark die horrifically. An amnesiac protagonist gathers other mark-bearers to confront spirits drawn from Japanese urban legends. It was Experience’s turn from dungeon RPGs to first-person horror adventure. It released on PlayStation Vita in Japan in June 2017. Aksys Games brought it to Nintendo Switch in North America on October 31, 2018, with the extra episode added in the PlayStation 4 version. This filing opens the Spirit Hunter lineage on the shelf.

Collection Documentation

The retained object is Aksys Games’ retail edition of Death Mark on a Nintendo Switch game card. Dedicated artifact views of the individual copy have not yet been filed; the gallery below is held open for that documentation.

Playback Compatibility
Nintendo Switch software is region-free. The retained game card is the primary access copy and runs on any Nintendo Switch console.
Preservation Concerns
Game cards are flash media; long-term charge retention, contact wear, and loss of the small card from its case are the principal risks. Any content delivered as an eShop download or update depends on Nintendo’s servers and is not preserved by the card alone.
Edition History
PlayStation Vita release in Japan on June 1, 2017; PlayStation 4 in January 2018, adding an extra episode. Nintendo Switch release in Japan on June 28, 2018, and North America on October 31, 2018 (HAC-P-AQTAA).
Access Status
Distributed at retail by Aksys Games, with a digital edition on the Nintendo eShop.
