Curator Notes

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising began as a Kickstarter stretch goal for Hundred Heroes: a 2.5D side-scrolling action RPG in which CJ, Isha, and Garoo help rebuild the town of New Nevaeh. Its characters carry into the main game. Natsume Atari developed it with Rabbit & Bear Studios, and 505 Games released it digitally on May 10, 2022. The Switch physical edition followed in 2023 with three trading cards. This filing opens the Eiyuden Chronicle lineage on the shelf.

Collection Documentation

The retained object is 505 Games’ physical edition of Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising for Nintendo Switch, retained with its slipcover. Dedicated artifact views of the individual copy have not yet been filed; the gallery below is held open for that documentation.

Preservation Notes

Access Hardware: Nintendo Switch; compatible Nintendo Switch family hardware
Original Hardware: Nintendo Switch
Playback Compatibility: Nintendo Switch software is region-free. The retained game card is the primary access copy and runs on any Nintendo Switch console.
Preservation Concerns: Game cards are flash media; long-term charge retention, contact wear, and loss of the small card from its case are the principal risks. Any content delivered as an eShop download or update depends on Nintendo’s servers and is not preserved by the card alone.
Edition History: Released digitally on May 10, 2022 across platforms. The Nintendo Switch physical edition (HAC-P-A5RCA) followed in 2023, produced with Red Art Games.
Access Status: Distributed at retail by 505 Games, with a digital edition on the Nintendo eShop.
