Curator Notes

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (2003) introduced the Netherworld prince Laharl, his vassal Etna, and the angel trainee Flonne in Nippon Ichi’s strategy RPG of towering numbers. Disgaea 1 Complete remakes it with HD art in the style of Disgaea 5, folding in Etna Mode and the extra characters of the PSP version. It released on Nintendo Switch in Japan as Disgaea Refine in July 2018, and in Europe on October 12, 2018. This copy is the German retail issue, with English text and voices on the card. This filing opens the Disgaea lineage on the shelf.
